The ban on the export of used cars from Japan to Russia has been imposed in the wake of the Ukraine-Russia war, there is a huge demand for Japanese cars in Russia.
The ban on the export of used vehicles to Russia will also affect Pakistani traders based in Japan.
President of Pakistan Japan Business Council Rana Abid Hussain says that out of 20 thousand Pakistanis living in Japan, 15 thousand Pakistanis are involved in the trade of used vehicles.
He says that 15 thousand Pakistanis in Japan export vehicles worth 2 billion dollars worldwide.
