Considered America’s favorite pastime, baseball is one of the most deserving of an unforgettable baseball tailgate party. It’s an opportunity for die-hard fans of a beloved sport to come together and pridefully celebrate their team. They also can get NLDS tickets and enjoy the game with their new merchandise.
However, it’s up to you to throw the ultimate baseball tailgate party. Here’s how.
Have Awesome Food
This is essential to almost any social gathering, but a necessity for a good tailgate.
The go-to tailgate favorites are hot dogs and burgers, but there are plenty of other baseball tailgate recipes you can try. Basically, any food you can get at a baseball game is good tailgate food for baseball.
Secure Cold Drinks
No one likes a dry tailgate. It’s practically a sin. Save up some money and put it toward a decent amount of drinks. It’s also a good idea to make your tailgate B.Y.O.B: bring your own beer.
Also, make sure you have either several jugs of water or a good amount of water bottles on site. It’s important to stay hydrated while drinking, especially if you’re going to be out in the sun.
Have Some Shade
Speaking of being in the sun, make sure you have some tents put up so your attendees have some shade to stand in. Dehydration can be a serious issue, and you always want to make sure people are safe. It’s your party, so you’re responsible!
Get Proper Seating
Having seats for your guests is another good idea. No one wants to stand around for hours, so gather up all the chairs you can find. If you don’t have any to spare, have people bring their own chairs.
Having seats for everyone is also nice for chill moments, hilarious conversations, and baseball discussions, of course.
A Little Ambiance Doesn’t Hurt
No matter how amazing the event, it can always be improved with music. Ask around and put together a good tailgate playlist.

Your tailgate party would be massively improved with some fun games. A very popular game is corn hole. You and a partner are against another team of two. Each team takes turns throwing beanbags into a hole in the enemy team’s board.
Another good game is horseshoes. Badminton is great if you have the space for it. You also want to check the weather conditions because if it’s too windy, you could lose your shuttlecock.
A Chance for Tickets
