President Trump attacks democratic institutions, Biden
US President-elect Joe Biden has said that President Donald Trump has attacked democratic institutions. President Trump tried to silence the voice of American voters.
US President-elect Joe Biden said in a speech that the attack on the Congress building yesterday was a dark day in the country’s history.
Joe Biden also criticized the police for being “lenient” with Trump supporters but harsh with anti-apartheid protesters.
He said that Black American protesters would be dealt with differently adding that the country’s dignity, integrity and independence needed to be restored.
The president-elect said those involved in the Capitol Hill attack were local terrorists.
