The screen on the Fitbit Versa (which we will talk about in-depth in a second) is 35.99mm x 29.23mm x 21mm. The band on it is adjustable so that it’ll fit on just about anyone’s wrist. And in total, the Fitbit Versa weighs 38g.
All of this makes the Fitbit Versa slightly larger than some of the other smartwatches from Fitbit. But it’s pretty comparable to the Apple Watch in terms of size and won’t feel too bulky at all once you slip it on.
Screen
The Fitbit Versa has an LCD touchscreen that is, as we just mentioned, 35.99mm x 29.23mm x 21mm. It also has three buttons on the side of it that can be used to control different elements of the smartwatch.
The Fitbit Versa’s screen has a resolution of 348×250 pixels. And for protection, it has a piece of Corning Gorilla glass over it.
Some of the newer Apple Watches do have more advanced screens on them than the one on the Fitbit Versa. But generally speaking, you’re going to find that the screen on the Fitbit Versa should more than exceed your expectations, especially if you’re going to be using it primarily to monitor workouts.
Battery
One area in which the Fitbit Versa definitely has the Apple Watch beat is in the battery department. Since Apple Watches are able to do so many different things, they have batteries in them that will only last for about 18 hours before they’ll need to get charged up.
This isn’t the case with the 145mAh battery in the Fitbit Versa. It can keep your smartwatch charged up for up to four days and potentially even longer if you don’t use it much during that span. So you shouldn’t have to spend too much time worrying about your Fitbit Versa’s battery conking out on you.
Operating System
The Fitbit Versa includes the Fitbit OS 2.0 operating system. It’s not necessarily going to knock your socks off with too many bells and whistles like the OS included in Apple Watches.
But the Fitbit 2.0 operating system is very simple to use and efficient. It’s the kind of intuitive OS that you’re going to want to rely on when you use your Fitbit Versa for working out and monitoring your health.
Features
From the second that you start using the Fitbit Versa, you’re going to be treated to a long list of features. It is, as we’ve alluded to a few times now, a great smartwatch for any workout warriors out there.
With the Fitbit Versa, you’ll be able to monitor things like:

- The distance that you travel throughout your days
- Your sleep schedule
The Fitbit Versa will also provide you with other notifications that’ll make life easier for you. It will tell you:

Design
One big advantage that the Apple Watch has over the Fitbit Versa is that it’s available in a wide range of colors and finishes. You’ll be able to choose whichever one fits your personality best.
That’s not going to be the case with the original Fitbit Versa. The casing for it only comes with a basic aluminum design.
But one thing worth noting is that it’s easy enough to pick up a new band for the Fitbit Versa. It’ll give you an opportunity to switch up the look of your Fitbit Versa on a whim.
Cost
Arguably the best part about the Fitbit Versa is the price tag on it. Unlike the Apple Watch, the Fitbit Versa is not going to break the bank when you buy it.
When the Fitbit Versa was first released, it retailed for just $199. And now that the Fitbit Versa 2 and Fitbit Versa 3 are out, you can find the original Fitbit Versa for a lot less than that in many places.
