For a Longer Life – Exercise Is Essential.

We shouldn’t have to be told that regular exercise and good diet is the secret to a long and happy life, but many of us have to be reminded of this on a very regular basis. Our doctors are probably sick and tired of telling us this every time we go to see them for a specific kind of ailment. We live in a very sedentary society where people are just concentrating on being successful at their jobs and they are totally neglecting their health. It’s common sense that if you exercise on a regular basis then your physical and mental health will be stronger. As the years creep up, it is even more important to be flexible and to do at least 30 minutes of exercise every single day in order to stay healthy. You don’t want to arrive at the situation when you hit 60 and you are unable to touch your toes anymore.

People often make excuses as to why they don’t exercise and the main reason given is that they just don’t have the time. The World Health Organisation tells us that as long as we do a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise five days a week at a moderate pace, this should be enough to keep us healthy and strong. This is only 30 minutes out of a 24 hour day and if you can’t put aside this little bit of time for your health, then there is really no hope for you. For those of you who say they don’t have the right equipment, The Athletic Buddha gyms in Sydney are open and waiting to you to walk through the door. If you still have to be sold on the health benefits of regular exercise then maybe the following can help you to make the right decision.
